Developing a Holistic Resilience Framework for Critical Infrastructure Networks of Buildings and Communities in Saudi Arabia

Cities around the world increasingly recognize need to build on their resilience deal with converging forces such as disasters, environmental degradation, urban sprawl, and climate change. Given significance of critical infrastructure networks (CINs) for maintaining quality life in buildings communities, improving is high importance governors, planners, policymakers. Therefore, this study proposed spatially analyze CINs Saudi Arabia develop a holistic framework communities. The research method involves case Najran, including collection CIN data, history natural future potential hazards. data were compiled list basic parameters required development criteria. Overall results show that city Najran performing below average compared measurement highlights make improvements terms robustness, redundancy, flexibility city. Moreover, paper proposes key aspects resilient criteria be taken into account by governor, policymakers, developer bodies better management available its years.
